Porsche 997 Turbo
The 911 should not be the fantastic drive that it is. Positioning the engine behind the rear wheels would normally lead to a very unbalanced car but five decades of developing and honing the chassis and suspension has resulted in a tremendously capable car. Allied to advances in light weight materials and new tyre technology means that all that power and torque can be accessed and transmitted to the road.
